I began photography with lessons from my mother and grandfather around the age of 18. It was while photographing at the San Xavier Mission, south of Tucson with my grandfather, that I discovered a passion for the medium.
Photography remained more of a hobby while I pursued a ministerial education. As I approached graduation, photography begun to pull at my interests and I soon decided to blend my ministerial calling with a career as an artist.
Since then, I have established myself as a wedding photographer in Las Vegas, Nevada while I continue to develop my artistic skills and work. Admittedly I am still learning what it means to marry these two callings together, my spiritual belief and art, but each new project leads me closer to that goal.
I have begun to be displayed and published with inclusions in group exhibitions. Notably the 2015 group exhibition “Size Matters” at the Low Gallery in San Diego and recently published work in the group exhibition “Human Body” in the October 2016 online magazine F-Stop.
